Raewynne Whiteley is vicar of Trinity Episcopal "Old Swedes" Church in Swedesboro, New Jersey. She has a PhD in Homiletics and has had a number of articles and sermons published. A particular area of interest in preaching and GenXers, about which she has written and taught.
Rev. Whiteley grew up (in Australia) hearing her brothers U2 records and recently rediscovered their music.; it has become a favorite source of reflection for sermons and teaching. She is a proud owner of a New Beetle and keeps the CD changer full of U2 CDs.
Beth Maynard is rector of Church of the Good Shepherd in Fairhaven, Mass. Her publications include "Meditations for Lay Eucharistic Ministers," "The Bread of Life" (both for Morehouse), various sermons/articles and "How to Evangelize a GenXer - NOT!" (from Forward Movement}.
She is a participant in U2 Internet fandom, a fledgling live show trader and a contributor to "Drawing Their Fish in the Sand," atu2.com's archive of U2 scripture references. She lives with her husband Mark Dirksen as close to the ocean as possible and does not own a Palm Pilot.
